    My website – using the Full Frame theme – has been injected with spam links. They are floating all over the site. My hosting company has been great about trouble shooting, but advises that the theme needs to be replaced. Can someone help? http://www.danafontaine.com

    @danafontaine: Are you using any plugins? May be some plugin is causing the issue. We haven’t faced or got similar issue for the theme.
    Let me know further.

    Thank you, @mahesh, but no. After much testing and troubleshooting, it is clear that plugins are not the problem.

    The Full Frame theme seems to have been compromised/hacked.

    Is it possible to replace this theme with a newer/fresher/non-hacked version?

    Thanks in advance,
    Dana

    @danafontaine:
    Hi Dana,

    Yes, seems so. Re-installing theme may or may not fix the hacking issue as it may have got to the other core files too. I recommend you to install a fresh copy of WordPress and theme, and yes also change you credentials.

    Regards,
    Mahesh

    @mahesh

    Thanks Mahesh,

    How do I get a fresh copy of the Full Frame theme? I don’t have to purchase another do I?

    @danafontaine: Sorry, but there has been a big confusion here because of the same name. Full Frame you are using is by Graph Paper Press. I didn’t notice at the beginning. Please contact Graph Paper Press support for the issue.

    Regards,
    Mahesh
