Featured Sliders disapeared for unknown reason

Hi all,

I’m using Clean Journal Pro theme for some years now – including a “Featured Image Slider” rotating some images on the homepage. For whatever reason the slider is not shown any more although it’s still set up in the Customizer.

It tried set up some other slider type, non of them is working and I have no clue what happened. I noticed the <section id="feature-slider"> is missing on my site but why?

Can any one help me bring the featured image slider back?

@msoellner: Please try disabling all the plugins and check if this solves your issue.

Thank you for the hint, @Skandha. Turns out, the Featured Image Slider is working when disabling the NextGEN Gallery plugin (version 2.2.54). During the last years NextGEN Gallery and Clean Journal Pro were working fine for me.

Although, I found several other threads in the forum regarding NextGEN Gallery and try to find a solution to have both of them working properly again. If you have any idea how to achieve this, please let me know!
