    Hi,
    when I switch from Full Content Display to Excerpt Blog Display pictures are no longer displayed in the blog.
    Is there a way to have the Posts displayed with the shortend text and the photo?
    I know that I can add a “more-Tag”, but this is not what i’m looking for 🙂 Some of my authors are really noobs!
    My idea is to have the posts looking like in the Full Contend mode but with automatically truncated text.

    I found some nice plugins to do this Job!

    Great you solved it yourself.

    You can increase excerpt text words size in Customizer=> Theme Options=> Excerpt options.
