Hello,
I have created a Child Theme in order to edit the Single Post (single.php) for Advance Custom Fields, however I cannot find the Single Post (single.php) editor in the Child Theme as I see it in the parent theme. Can you please guide me how to import, copy or clone the Editor from the parent theme into the child theme? I don’t want to touch the parent theme just in case. Thank you so much in advance.

Thank you for your response.
Please, once the Single PHP gets copied from the parent theme:
1. Where in the Child Theme do I paste that information?
2. Do I need to create a “Child Editor” within the Child Theme? If yes, how to?Sorry about my ignorance, but I have not been able to find this info.

single.php
file from parent theme to the child theme’s folder (if you chose to copy the content, then you’ll need to create a file, paste it into it and save it assingle.php
in your child theme’s main folder), then you’ll be able to see it in admin dashboard’s editor and edit it. Let me know if any problem.Regards,

That’s exactly what I need to do, but I don’t know how to create such file. Where do I click to create a file where I will paste the copied single.php so that I can later rename it single.php within the child theme. Please walk me through, I don’t know how to do this very elementary step and I cannot find that info anywhere.
Hope you understand what I am asking. Thank you so much in advance.

Hope this helps.Regards,
