The photo journal place holder “Media Header photography” is showing on my site. I don’t know how to remove it, since it should not be there. I’m sure the fix is in the css, but I am not well versed in css and don’t won’t to delete the wrong thing.

The issue will be fixed in the upcoming theme update. For the time being
Go to => Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS and add the following CSS Code.

.custom-header-content .entry-title, .custom-header-content .site-header-text {
    display: none;
}

Let me know if this works out!
