I can’t delete the featured content that came with the Adventurous theme from my homepage. Everything else seems off to a good start.

I’m new to wordpress, and trying to set it up to incorporate a legacy dreamweaver website. On whatever new page I make, if it gets called “home” and becomes my static first page, featured content that came with the Adventurous theme appears at the top. It doesn’t appear when I try to edit the page.

I can work with html but don’t know how to access it in wordpress.

Not sure how you can see my site but hope <http://127.0.0.1:8080/wordpress/&gt; works.
