Hi.

I recently started building my blog and chose the Clean Journal theme because it looked really good
and had great customization.

I was wondering how I can add a facebook likebox to my sidebar?

I have tried different plugins for facebook social plugins and also tried to add
that piece of code into the header.php file after the opening body tag, but none seems to work.

Can you help please?

Hi @mikael,

The social element falls outside theme scope. you need to try out plugins from wordpress.org repo. I wont be able to teel u exactly which plugin to use, but use one that is updated regularly, has most active installs and has more positive reviews.

But don’t you know what works with your own themes?

If I need to put in code inside the body tags, which file is that?
Is it the header.php?

Hi Mikael,

If you want to make changes, please do it via child theme.

It depends on where you want the icons. If you want it in header, then add it in header.php. For footer, add it in footer.php.
