    I have created a post entry that has a link in the text. In a preview of the post the link is present and can be followed. However when the post is displayed by a user, the text that contains the link doesn’t have the link code present. Confirmed by using inspect in the browser. However if I click on the post (generally what you would do on a long post), the link is present.

    As this is a short post – say less than 10 words, not something a user would think to do.

    I would guess this is intentional, is there a way to turn it off for just post. If not, I’ll have to add to the post something like, to be able to follow the link click the title of the post first. It would work, but not what I would call a gracefully solution.

    Hope you have a better solution or explain why and what else might be removed from a post.

    Sorry for the delay on my part on this issue. For some unknown your email hit my SPAM folder and I just discovered it.
    Here are pictures of what I mean. These are Blog post on out site, and can be vied here https://rarclub.net/category/news-and-events/

    An example is the 3rd item on the page Newsletter Available. In the sentence
    The February newsletter has been posted here.
    The word here is a link, but that is not in the displayed post. However if you click on the Title of the post (Newsletter Available) the link is present.

    So is there a way to not have the link removed from the list of all of the post?

    @ken-leidner: Hello there,
    For that you will need to create a child theme and do a little bit of customziation. Let me know if you are familiar with child theme customization otherwise I suggest you to hire a customizer to get it done.

    Kind Regards,
    Skandha

    I have never created a child theme, so at this time I’ll let this request go and adjust post to tell the user how to “see” the link.
