Keymaster@ejmaxwellcat: It should be working. Can you let me know what is the issue. If you cannot upload then you can directly add the image url in the image field.

Keymaster1) How can I change the font size of the content inside the menu drop down bar?
— You can add the following CSS in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box.
#header-menu ul.menu ul a { font-size: 10px; }2) Is there a way to put text/images to the right side of the header?
— For this you need to upgrade to Catch Everest Pro theme, where you will get Header Right Sidebar and then add anything you want.3) When you enable the slider for the entire site, is there a way to designate certain slides for certain pages? I don’t want accounting slides to appear for the travel & tours section.
— Sorry there is no option for this. You are only allowed to use same slider throughout the site.4) Is there a way to remove the “Powered by: WordPress” text in the footer?
— For this you need to upgrade to Catch Everest Pro theme, where you will get Footer Editor in Theme Options panel where you can delete or edit the footer text.5) How can you link “Click Here” buttons to certain pages?
— I don’t get it what you mean. You can add html links.6) Is there a way to link image slider pictures to certain pages?
— For this you need to upgrade to Catch Everest Pro theme, where there is Featured Image Slider which can link to any page, post, category, or custom url.See more details about Catch Everest Pro at http://catchthemes.com/theme-instructions/catch-everest-pro/

Keymaster@Lorena Poling: Looking at your customize, it’s sure that you need to hire developer who can do that for you. I recommend tweaky http://bit.ly/YANvfZ services.
Looking at your design,
1. Header image at top, which you have already done it.
2. Then Menu, this is also you have completed it.
3. Then add in the featured image, this is simple, you can add it yourself from “Appearance => Featured Slider”
4. Then add the the three blocks of text from “Appearance => Homepage Settings => Homepage Featured Content. Where you can just the text in “Content” and leave title, image, image url and all empty. So, you will have only content. Then add the following CSS in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box to give colors#site-generator { padding-top: 94px; } #featured-post #featured-post-1 .entry-content { background-color: #3fa9f5; } #featured-post #featured-post-2 .entry-content { background-color: #ff931e; } #featured-post #featured-post-3 .entry-content { background-color: #86328c; } #featured-post .post .entry-content { border: 1px solid #708e2f; padding: 10px; color: #fff; } #welcome-text { color: #fff; margin: 0 auto; width: 80%; }The add the your footer text as below in “Appearance => Theme Options => Footer Editor Options”
<div id="welcome-text"><h4>Welcome to TULegacy!</h4> TU LEGACY will bring together people that care and are willing to donate to build a Legacy that will continue for many generations, helping kids, teenagers, families or elderly and give them the tools to succeed in their journey and dreams.</div>September 24, 2013 at 10:27 pm #15031In reply to: Crop Slider Image

Keymaster@rgcoles: Actually that is not there in theme. But can you try adding in the following CSS in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box.
#slider-wrap .featured-img { float: left; } #slider-wrap .featured-text { float: right; }September 24, 2013 at 9:49 pm #15029In reply to: Crop Slider Image

MemberHi,
I’m also using the Featured Image Slider Option but would like to add content and have the photo to the left of the content instead of above the content.
Is there a way to do this?

Thank you,

btw, I’m having trouble finding where I’m supposed to create a new post

MemberHi Sakin,
The issue remains, even if I disable the plugins.
I’d like to have an image in my header, it doesn’t have to be the Featured Slider. Is there another way I can add a static image into the header?September 23, 2013 at 8:06 am #14935In reply to: Crop Slider Image

Keymaster@Terry M: Look like WordPress upload error. Can you tell me which theme are you using it. To check if that is WordPress Setup or Theme Issue. You can change to default them and check in.
To upload Featured Image Slider in “Simple Catch Pro”, follow the instruction as below.
1. Click on Appearance => Theme Options => Featured Slider from your WordPress Dashboard
2. Click on Slider Options, then click on Image Slider
3. Click on Featured Image Slider Options
4. Then upload the images, once the upload is complete, click on Insert Into Post
5. Then add in the tile, content, link and target as needed
6. Click on Save Changes buttonSeptember 22, 2013 at 10:25 pm #14928In reply to: Crop Slider Image

MemberThe video instructions look different than what I see. At 27:16 I click post thumbnail editor link but I don’t see any photos.
Can you send instructions for using featured image slider. Also, when I upload my image 976×313 I get an error – Error saving media attachment. Do you know why.

MemberOoo, I see that one of my ideas is already part of Everest! I can change the slider to match categories instead of specific posts. Great minds think alike 🙂 Haha!
This is 100% exactly what I’d love to see from the featured content area.

MemberThanks for the consideration. I’d love to just have it handled exactly the same way the slider is handled, where you enter post numbers for the ones you want in those three slots.
Or, have it handle the way I mentioned. I’m thinking you could tag certain posts with with a “Featured” category, and the theme will throw the three most recent posts in that category into the featured content section. I’d love to be able to handle the slider in this way too…

Keymaster@Terry M: Simple Catch Pro theme “Post Slider” uses the image size 976px width and 313px height. So, you need to upload the image with that size so that it doesn’t crop. You can also check this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oiov0L4blIw, you can just skip to 22 minutes.
Next option is to use “Featured Image slider” where you can upload any image you want. It will not crop it.

Keymaster@sakino akura: If you are using Catch Box Free theme, then you can add the following CSS in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom Css” box to hide the text box in the slider.
#slider-wrap .featured-text { display: none; }September 18, 2013 at 11:24 pm #14743In reply to: Add line to break slider and page content
Sakin
Keymaster@tnotty: In this case, you can remove the old css I gave you and add the following one.
.featured-slider { border-bottom: 40px solid #fee000; }September 18, 2013 at 7:43 pm #14727In reply to: A simple and stupid question
Sakin
Keymaster@johnbroganjr: Please check the theme instruction at http://catchthemes.com/theme-instructions/catch-everest/
1. Go to “Appearance => Theme Options => Featured Post Slider” in your WordPress Dashboard
2. To add Posts in the slider, click on Slider Options and simply insert the ID numbers for posts in the boxes, one post ID number in each box
3. To change the slider effects and timing, go to Slider Effect Options which is just below Slider Options
4. Click on Save buttonSeptember 18, 2013 at 7:38 pm #14726In reply to: Link text in slideshow to specific page
Sakin
Keymaster@rlsdesigns: Sorry you cannot link to page in Catch Everest Free Theme. If you want your slider to link to different links then you need to use Featured Image Slider. Featured Image slider gives your freedom to select link, title, content as per you wish, all optional. See this screenshot of Featured Image Slider http://www.pinterest.com/pin/548594798329509357/

Keymaster@Eleina: Yours in also same.
1. You have large logo image http://www.captivatinghearts.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/473770215.jpg . You can replace that with small logo image from “Appearance => Theme Options => Logo Options”
2. Then you have menu
3. You don’t have slider. You can add slider from “Appearance => Theme Options => Featured Post Slider”. See theme instruction at http://catchthemes.com/theme-instructions/simple-catch/ and for this slider, you need posts. -
