    How can I upload a screenshot? Could I e-mail the drafts to you, so you can have an idea of what I want to do?

    @Lorena Poling: Yes, you can upload using “Media => Upload” in your site and send me that file url or you can add that in DropBox and share the file link

    Here you go:
    FIRST DRAFT: (Just FYI)
    The first URL was the first idea, BUT we realized that we couldn’t do everything with the theme, since it needed to be customized A LOT:

    http://www.tulegacy.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/WEB4.pdf

    SECOND DRAFT:
    The following URL is the second DRAFT that we are actually trying to make it work. This is the draft that I’ve been asking for you to help me with.
    We’ll change the font of the header (and correct the word Together) and the footer probably won’t have that text and instead will be below the Menu.
    Here is the DRAFT that we are working on right now:

    http://www.tulegacy.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/WEB5-draft.pdf

    Please let me know if you can see it!

    @Lorena Poling: Looking at your customize, it’s sure that you need to hire developer who can do that for you. I recommend tweaky http://bit.ly/YANvfZ services.

    Looking at your design,
    1. Header image at top, which you have already done it.
    2. Then Menu, this is also you have completed it.
    3. Then add in the featured image, this is simple, you can add it yourself from “Appearance => Featured Slider”
    4. Then add the the three blocks of text from “Appearance => Homepage Settings => Homepage Featured Content. Where you can just the text in “Content” and leave title, image, image url and all empty. So, you will have only content. Then add the following CSS in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box to give colors

    #site-generator { padding-top: 94px; }
    #featured-post #featured-post-1 .entry-content { background-color: #3fa9f5; }
    #featured-post #featured-post-2 .entry-content { background-color: #ff931e; }
    #featured-post #featured-post-3 .entry-content { background-color: #86328c; }
    #featured-post .post .entry-content { border: 1px solid #708e2f; padding: 10px; color: #fff; }
    #welcome-text { color: #fff; margin: 0 auto; width: 80%; }

    The add the your footer text as below in “Appearance => Theme Options => Footer Editor Options”

    <div id="welcome-text"><h4>Welcome to TULegacy!</h4>
    TU LEGACY will bring together people that care and are willing to donate to build a Legacy that will continue for many generations, helping kids, teenagers, families or elderly and give them the tools to succeed in their journey and dreams.</div>

    Hello Sakin! I hope you are fine!
    I’m finally back and I have questions and need your help.

    If you go to your website: http://www.tyulegacy.org, we added three buttons: Family services, Education, Elderly. We need the following:

    1. Colored BUTTONS: We would like to have them closer (or make the spaces between them much smaller): (example: Go to: http://www.childrenscoloradofoundation.org/site/c.jfILKSOBJsG/b.4489445/k.BE7B/Home.htm and please see the colored buttons and how distance between them is smaller. We’d like something like that.

    2. Get rid of the Text boxes:
    There is a very light colored frame around:
    * The buttons
    * The text above the buttons and
    * The slide images
    Can we get rid of those framse, since the content in the page looks like if it was made or written in text boxes.

    I thinnk that’s all for now. We are almost there!!! 🙂
    Thank you and take care!

    @@Lorena Poling: To remove the box from those, image you can add the following CSS in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box.
    #featured-post img.wp-post-image { box-shadow: none; }

    Then about the gap, you are using 3 columns where as in your reference site, it’s 4 columns. So, the gap cannot be same.

    Hello,
    In refernce to your answer above:

    GAPS:
    1. About the gaps between the 3 columns, can we still make them smaller?
    We can make the buttons longer to cover the space and bring them closer together.

    TEXT BOXES:
    2. I could remove the boxes from the buttons! It worked…thanks! 🙂
    3. Can we remove the boxes where the slide images are?
    4. Can we also remove the two boxes under the slide images (where the text is one box) and there is an empty text box above where the text is that I’d like to remove as well.

    Thanks!

    @Lorena Poling: You can add the following CSS in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box.

    /* Remove Slider Box */
    .featured-slider .slides { box-shadow: none; }

    /* Increase the width of Featured Column */
    @media screen and (min-width: 768px) {
        #featured-post .post {
            margin-left: 0;
            width: 33.33%;
        }
    }

    I don’t understand your request of point 4. Maybe you can show me the screenshot explaining that.

    Hello,

    Here is the screenshot:
    http://www.tulegacy.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/Tu-screen.png
    or you can see the whole thing on the website is: http://www.tulegacy.org
    I added the code that you gave me and the results are:

    GAPS:
    The colored buttons are a little closer together, but if you see on the screenshot, the last one is not aligned with the others. Can we make the gap between the buttons smaller, and have the buttons aligned?

    TEXT BOXES:

    a) SLIDER BOX: The frame disappeared but the box has is still filled with a light blue color. We are adding othe pictures that will be 1140px long so they should cover the color, but can we still get rid of the color fill just in case the pictures don’t have the exact dimentions needed?

    b) Need to disappear box under the feature Slider (it is between the Featured slider and the text that I entered in ”Homepage Headline Options”).
    * By the way, can I change the color and font on the Homepage Headline Options”?

    c) Need to remove box frame and change the fill light blue color to white where the text is in “Homepage Headline Options” (“TU Legacy will bring together people that care…etc “)

    d) WHOLE FRAME in HOME PAGE: There is a light blue frame that is all around the Home page but is cut at the very top on the right and left side.
    Why is that? Can we have a complete frame or get rid of it completely?

    e) IF we’d need the website to use the whole screen, is it possible and do you think it’s a good idea?

    f) How can I add a SEARCH box at the top right of the Home page (and probably every page?).

    Lots of questions, but I hope they are not too confusing for you.
    Thank you SO MUCH!

    @Lorena Poling:
    GAPS: That’s not the coding issue but the image issue. You can try adding the same image design issue. See these image http://www.tulegacy.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/ELDERLY2.png and http://www.tulegacy.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/BOTON-EDUCATION3.png where elderly2 is up and that is why it is not aligned.

    Slider box you can remove the background by adding in the following CSS in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box.
    .featured-slider .slides { background-color: transparent; }

    To remove box in Homepage headline, you need to add the following CSS in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box.

    #homepage-message {
        background-color: transparent;
        border: none;
    }

    You are talking about light blue color. But don’t have any light blue color in your site.

    To add search in top right, you need to go to “Appearance => Widgets” and then add search widget in Header Right Sidebar.

    Yes, too confused with your question. For this level of customization, you need to hire customizer.

    Sorry about my confusing questions.
    I’ll add the codes that you gave me above, and I’m sure they’ll work!

    I also have a question about the Home page.
    The website’s Menu estructure, has a Home page. It seems that that the WordPress Home page is different from the Home Page in Catch Everest:
    ==> Theme Optios => Homepage Settings.

    Should I delete the Home page on the WordPress Menu Estructure that shows in:
    ==>Appearance => Menus => Edit Menu

    Thanks!

    @Lorena Poling: No need to delete that.
