They want the date link in the post to not be linked to anything and black. They only want it to show the date.
How do I do that?
I love this theme.

Thank you for using Catch Responsive Pro.
For the above, you have to create a child theme. You can find more details on creating the child theme HERE. Then in child theme’sfunctions.php
add the following codes.function catchresponsive_entry_meta() { echo '
'; $time_string = '%2$s'; if ( get_the_time( 'U' ) !== get_the_modified_time( 'U' ) ) { $time_string = '%2$s%4$s'; } $time_string = sprintf( $time_string, esc_attr( get_the_date( 'c' ) ), esc_html( get_the_date() ), esc_attr( get_the_modified_date( 'c' ) ), esc_html( get_the_modified_date() ) ); printf( '%1$s %3$s', sprintf( _x( 'Posted on', 'Used before publish date.', 'catch-responsive' ) ), esc_url( get_permalink() ), $time_string ); if ( is_singular() || is_multi_author() ) { printf( '%1$s%3$s', sprintf( _x( 'Author', 'Used before post author name.', 'catch-responsive' ) ), esc_url( get_author_posts_url( get_the_author_meta( 'ID' ) ) ), esc_html( get_the_author() ) ); } if ( ! post_password_required() && ( comments_open() || '0' != get_comments_number() ) ) { echo ''; comments_popup_link( esc_html__( 'Leave a comment', 'catch-responsive' ), esc_html__( '1 Comment', 'catch-responsive' ), esc_html__( '% Comments', 'catch-responsive' ) ); echo ''; } edit_post_link( esc_html__( 'Edit', 'catch-responsive' ), '', '' ); echo '
'; }
Regards,
