    Is it possible to make the menu bar more graphically interesting… buttons / or at least a background pattern?

    @saylahv: You can add background pattern that is not a problem. Just upload the background pattern in your site and then send me the link of that pattern and your site. I will then send you the css code that you can add in “Custom CSS” box in Theme Options panel.

    @saylahv: Just add the following CSS in “Custom CSS” box in Theme Options panel.

    #header-menu { background: url("http://hpsepicurean.com/wptest/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/navtexture1.png") repeat scroll 0 0 transparent; }
