Hi,
I have recently changed from Catch Responsive to Catch Base however when I view my homepage on a mobile or ipad it doesn’t show the correct slider or featured content.
Also my logo doesn’t show when viewing on a mobile or ipad.
My URL is http://www.fcexclusive.co.uk
Hope you can help.
Thanks,
Dan
July 13, 2015 at 9:55 pm #60923SakinKeymaster@fcexclusive: It is showing fine in my iPad and mobile devices. Have you clear your cache from “W3 Total Cache” plugin settings. Please clear it and refresh your browser to check in.
The only issue I see is the color mobile menu anchor. So, you can add the following css in “Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Custom CSS Options” box or in your child theme style.css file to change the color:
#masthead .mobile-menu-anchor a.genericon-menu, #masthead .mobile-menu-anchor a.genericon-menu:hover { color: #f5e7ad; text-decoration: none; }
July 14, 2015 at 3:03 am #60936fcexclusiveMemberHi Sakin,
I’ve just cleared the cache and it seems to be showing ok now. I may just have to clear the cache whenever I log out as it seems to be messing the site up. Just before I cleared the cache I couldn’t see any of the sidebars and my featured content was the example the theme uses.
On the responsive menu when I am using IPhone my page moves to the right but no menu appears, can you send me some css to fix this?
Also the 3 lines to open the menu up and the X to close the menu is the same colour as my background so very hard to see, is there a way of changing the colour of this?
Thanks,
Dan

July 21, 2015 at 1:06 am #61249fcexclusiveMemberHi Sakin,
Ive played around with the CSS and I cannot figure out why on the iphone and ipad my featured content is coming up with the demo and not the featured content I want on there.
For example the slider image should have football team badges, an interview and a football pitch however it shows a mac on a sofa and a coffee meeting.
The featured content should show casino, transport, weather and music however it shows central park, home office and vespa scooter. Can you explain why this is showing and how I can fix it?
Also the menu is showing at the bottom when its opened on the iphone and not on the left hand side. When I was using the ‘catch responsive’ theme I was told to input the below CSS
@media screen and (max-width: 990px) { .nav-primary { display: block; } .mobile-menu-anchor { display: none; } }
which did work however this doesn’t work on ‘catch base’.
Regards,
Dan

July 21, 2015 at 1:56 pm #61267fcexclusiveMemberI’ve played around with the cache and no change on this.
If you would haven’t already got my log in details you can have them and have a look around the site yourself if you like?
Thanks,
Dan
