Is there a way to get the header to stay still and not to scroll? So the rest of the page scrolls but the header stays where it is?

October 2, 2014 at 9:30 am #45186KimParticipantThank you!
For some reason some of my featured images are coming up smaller than they should on some excerpts. Can you check it out?

Thanks! I don’t know why it did this all of a sudden. I don’t have any extra plug-in. The only one I had I deleted.
Thanks!
KOctober 2, 2014 at 12:36 pm #45191SakinKeymaster@Kim: Catch Box Pro featured image recommended size is Width: 644px and Height: 320px. This will make it look like our demo site http://catchthemes.com/demo/catchbox-pro/. If you upload the image size as per the size or greater then that then it will show all image at exact size. But if you upload image size smaller then that then it will show the original image that you have uploaded. In you site, the image are showing as you have uploaded.
October 2, 2014 at 9:48 pm #45202KimParticipantThis is not the issue as the images on the bottom post is 731×900.

Also, I’ve been on the site at least 30 times a day just testing and working on it because I just launched and want it to be right. This is a new issue. Please investigate.

October 2, 2014 at 10:13 pm #45203SakinKeymaster@Kim: Hum that’s strange. Can you regenerate thumbnail with this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/.
I hope you haven’t change any core theme files.October 2, 2014 at 11:01 pm #45209KimParticipantAll I did was upload your update. Is there a way I can roll it back?
Also, I’m noticing it only happens with featured images. I’m guessing the regenerate thumbnails wouldn’t apply?
Thanks for your fast response! I much appreciate that!

October 2, 2014 at 11:13 pm #45210SakinKeymaster@Kim: I check in the theme update and it’s nothing to do with image size. I see in the code it is still set to
add_image_size( 'featured-slider', 644, 320, true );
Check that regenerate thumbnail plugin and clear your cache. I am sure it’s not related to theme update.
October 3, 2014 at 12:08 am #45213KimParticipantOk. But I’m not using the slider. I’m only using the featured images for the post excerpts…
October 3, 2014 at 8:07 am #45220KimParticipantAlso, although I have the CSS:
.entry-summary .wp-post-image {
display: inline;
float: left;
margin-right: 10px;
}Notice that the Ombre image, which is full size, is reducing to thumbnail but still not aligning to the side of the image.
October 3, 2014 at 8:12 am #45221KimParticipantI regenerated thumbnails and cleared my cach. No change.
October 3, 2014 at 9:02 pm #45230SakinKeymaster@Kim: This is strange looks like regenerate is not working in your site. Did you activate any new plugin or update plugin recently. As I tested in my server and it’s working fine. I have just tested in new demo server as well. It’s working fine.
Also when I check in your source of your image in the site, it’s
<img width="644" height="312" alt="laser-hair-removal" class="attachment-featured-slider wp-post-image" src="http://hidemyage.com/wp-content/uploads/laser-hair-removal1.jpg">
You can see the image tag is taking width and height properly but the in src it is taking full image. So, it’s issue with the image crop.
I will also email you, if you want to talk in detail.
October 4, 2014 at 2:06 am #45242KimParticipantI have added no extra plugins that coincide with the incident however I do update them all on a regular basis. All of my featured images are shrinking and it has changed the look of my site in a negative way right when I’m driving traffic to it! Some of my featured images were not even showing until I deleted them and replaced them.
