    I am using “Post Thumbnail editor” plugin to get choice of thumbnails rather than the default middle of image. This works brilliantly in most places (like post listing being square subsets of the featured image). I would expect that the thumbnail chosen for the 976×313 would appear in the featured post slider.

    The featured post slider is choosing its own thumbnails it seems as some images are getting letterbox edges on the left and right. Which thumbnails are being chosen, and how do I get more control over them?

    @threebarrelbluff: It uses slider thumbnail.

    OK. I tried regenerating thumbnails, but that did not seem to work. However, unattaching the featured image and reattaching did work. Easy enough once I understood where it was sourcing.

    Thank you for this theme. I tried looking at the “go pro” section for this theme, but can not really see what comes new with Pro version. Is it easy to upgrade without loss of functionality?

    @threebarrelbluff: Simple Catch Pro technology is different to Simple Catch Free Theme. Simple Catch Pro is responsive design build in HTML5 and css3. For more details about additional features, you can check out theme instruction page at http://catchthemes.com/theme-instructions/simple-catch-pro/

    It’s relatively easy upgrading. If you want assistance in upgrade then so let us know.
