    Hi,

    Is it possible to set up the homepage to use some static intro copy, rather than just showing a specific post? We don’t want it to say ‘read more’ on the homepage.

    We can kind of accomplish this via static content option, but then we lose the slideshow and the featured content widgets?

    So say I wanted to add some custom text that wasn’t a post, beneath the featured widget, and perhaps a some shortcode underneath the featured widget too, how could I do that without setting the homepage to static?

    Never mind worked it out, need to create a new page and set it to that instead.
