Hi,

I have a few questions if you don’t mind. First, I’m trying to add some social media icons. I’m following the instructions on http://catchthemes.com/theme-instructions/adventurous-pro/ but it ‘s not working.

Also, on the footer area how can I put the contact information below the paragraph that starts out “the information on this website. . . “? Also, how can I center the text in those two areas? Can I put them in divs and apply css that way?

1. To add social media icons. First, you need to add in social media URL in “Appearance => Theme Options => Social Links”. Then you need to go to “Appearance => Widgets” and drag and drop “1. Adventurous: Social” widgets to Sidebar or Header right Sidebar or Footer Area, depending on where you want to add in.

2. Sorry I don’t know where is the paragraph “the information on this website”. Can you post in your site URL and explain so that I can understand what you want to add in.
— In footer, there is Footer Areas where you can add widgets from “Appearance => Widgets” to Footer Area One, two, three and so on.
— there is footer content where you can see copyright text and theme text. This you can remove or edit it from “Appearance => Theme Options => Footer Editor Options.

@mindiapolis: You can go to “Appearance => Widgets” and add “1. Adventurous: Social” widgets to the Footer Area One or Footer Area two or footer area three as per your need.

By the way where did you add your Facebook URL. You need to add it in “Appearance => Theme Options => Social Icons”

I got the social media icons to appear. Is there a way they can go at the very bottom to the right of the contact information?

@mindiapolis: To center the text, you can add the following css in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box.
#supplementary #text-3 { text-align: center; }

Further, if you want your footer widget text to cover full page then you need to remove social widget from Footer Area Two and add that in Footer Area One. In this way, you will only have Footer Area One with widgets you added and it will take full width.

@mindiapolis: Sorry I don’t get it what you mean. Also I see that you have added Facebook link in “Appearance => Theme Options => Webmaster Tools => Header and Footer Codes => Code to display on Footer” box. You shouldn’t add there.

I switched the Social Media icon to footer area one but now the icons are above the “the information on this website. . . ” The social media icons should go below that paragraph and on the right with the contact information to the left of the icons. Also that “the information on this website. . . ” still is not centered across the whole page even after adding the css

@mindiapolis: There is still one empty text widget in your footer area two. Remove that and it will take full width.

To make your social icon below the text widget in Footer Area One. You can just drag your social widget below that text widget in Footer Area one.
