1. Is it possible to determine the position of the link ‘read more’? Right now the ‘read more’ link is placed when the text box for the home page is full and that could be in the middle of a sentence. I want to determine myself where the link should be placed. I tried adding the ‘insert more tag’ in the article itself; by doing that, the text after that tag isn’t shown at the homepage anymore (and that is good), but there is no link ‘read more’ either.
: check the boxes ‘wie zijn wij’ and ‘recente projecten’.
2. As you can see in the box ‘contact’ the info is shown without line breaks. I want all the info to be shown on separate lines, but no matter what I try adding, at the home page the info is shown as if there are no line breaks. Is there any way to solve that?
Thanks in advance!

1. If you want manual read more text by adding in more tag<!--more-->
, then first you need to go to “Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Layout Options” and in “Archive Content Layout”, you need to select “Show Full Content”.2. Sorry I don’t get it what you mean. As you haven’t posted in your site URL to see the contact. So, please post in your site URL and explain please.

1. I tried adding that tag and even with that option selected, the words ‘read more’ aren’t shown.

Hope it’s ok to post in this topic.
I’m having a similar problem. The ‘read more…’ tag was working on the site, showing on the front page for 4 content boxes, but for the last featured content box I added, the read more won’t show.
url: http://newhopedance.org/.
I tried doing what you suggested above, but it doesn’t work.
The box in question is 2nd from left Audition-dance company 2015-16
ThanksMay 30, 2015 at 10:23 pm #58595michaela2ParticipantHi again,
I was able to get the read more to show when I didn’t add it manually, but now am having the issue of line breaks being ignored.May 31, 2015 at 1:06 am #58606SakinKeymaster@klaarbenje: Oh you are talking about Featured Page Content. So, this will not take Layout Options as Archive Content Layout. Archive Content layout is only for the blog post.
Good News, we have just added in “Display Content” option in Featured Content Options. So, first update your Catch Responsive theme to latest version 1.5 and then go to “Appearance => Customize => Feature Content Options => Featured Content Type” and select “Show Full Content” in “Display Content”.
May 31, 2015 at 1:09 am #58607SakinKeymaster@michaela2: Same goes, to you. You can go to “Appearance => Customize => Feature Content Options => Featured Content Type” and select “Show Full Content” in “Display Content” and then you can break content in your page using more tag
<!--more-->
. Read more about more tag at http://devotepress.com/wordpress-writing-editing/how-to-split-content-using-the-more-tag-option/June 1, 2015 at 6:28 pm #58721klaarbenjeMemberYou’re the best! That update also solves problem #2 😀

On the line breaks aspect:
>Catch Adaptive pro >Customize your site >Featured Content >Featured Content Options >Select Content Type = Featured Image Content >Check to Enable Title = Checked >
Display Content = Show Full Content > Featured Content #1, #2, #3 and #4Query 1: Title Hotel #1 etc. doesn’t show
Query 2: Content: I’m trying to insert a line break after ‘Hotel del al Krytiuk’ etc.
I have tried <p></p> and <br> with no luck.Your views would be appreciated.
Brian.

Form next time, please post in appropriate support forum. Catch Adaptive Pro support forum is https://catchthemes.com/support-forum/forum/catch-adaptive-pro-premium/
About Featured Image Content. Right now, it doesn’t take full html. So, it will take is as single paragraph without break. Only, Post, Page and Category featured content take full html when you select Display Content as “Full Content”.
But I have looks at your issue and we will come up with solution for Featured Image content in next version. To take HTML codes when using Full Content.
Thanks.
