I trein, but I did not succeed. I try to explain what I have done.
Selected the widget ct: Gallery Images. I added id in the widget area: after content.
1 column for trying
no of items 1
then I wanted to add an image
I named image 1: title
For the url of the image I went to the library of images
I searched one and placed the shortened url in ” Url of image”
After that I copied the permalink and copied into: “Link of image”
After that I clicked on “save”
The last thing I did was looking to the result:
I only saw the title of the image and a question mark on the place of the image. Can you learn me what I have done wrong.
Kind regards

I already side the featured content. That works fine. What I want is to place three pictures of our sponsors with a link just above the footer i.el between the featured image and the footer.
I also used the footer space.
So I think I need to use the above footer widget. And that seems not to be possible in the way I want.

HansParticipantHi Skandha,
Thank you for answering and looking at it.

Hans
HansParticipantHi Skandha,
I succeeded for 75%. What I miss is a read more link. Is it possible to make this. I searched, but I could not find a solution.

Hans
HansParticipantHi Skandha,
What I should like has been solved voor 75% by using featured images.
Where I am looking for is the following:
In the featured content should be four featured content in the final version of the website.
Two of them are “normal” pages and two of them are pages with lated posts. And I should like to have for all 4 the possibility of a “read more link” and an image above the text.
Now I use the featured image functionality and then it isn’t possible to have an excerpt and a read more link. And if I use the featured content functionality then I have to use an image for a page to get the image in the featured content. But…. I use a featured slider and then using an extra image as featured image gives an ugly effect.I am not able to make the featured picture for a latest post page so that it is only visible to the featured content on the front page and not on the latest post page.
Addition question: is it possible to upload a picture to you, then it is easier to explain what I mean.
Kind regards
Hans
HansParticipantHi Skandha,
It worked fine. Thank you and have an fine day.
Kind regardsHans
HansParticipantThank you Sakin. I am a bit ashamed now. I tried this yesterday to solve problems and I forgot.
Font family is right now. I saw a difference between font family in featured page content and featured image content. For now I make a read more link myself if it is possible to add html to the text.
Kind regards and thank you for helping.
Hans
HansParticipantNow I can place an image, but the type of font family is the wrong type and the ” read more link” does not work and hasn’t the right color.
Regards
Hans
HansParticipantThere is still one problem Sakin. I do not see a n image that I added and there is no link ” read more”
My website is synforum.nl This website is under construction. One time to the solution I am looking for. This is a discussion website. Featured content must link to two category pages with latest posts and two “normal” pages with content. It should be great if all featured content parts can display an image and a “read more” link.
If this is not possible, what should be the next best solution?Regards
Hans
HansParticipantThank you Sakin for prompt answering. I’ll give it a try again.

Hans
HansParticipantHi Sakin,
Where is it possible to use Featured Content type as “Custom” in Lucida Pro template.
I only see:
demo featured page content
featured widget content
featured post content
featured page content
featured category content
friturend image contentbut not the possibility to use featured content type as mixed.
Regards
Hans
HansParticipantThank you Sakin,
I will try this. I let you know if it works for me.

Hans
HansParticipantHi Tikaram,
Thanks. I’ll be waging for our reaction.

Hans
HansParticipantAfter a night sleep I started the website and all is working fine. Don’t know how, but it is working.
HansParticipantHi, I added some additional css and it succeeded a bit, but the thing is that Lucida Pro refuses to change background colors
