I did some testing on other pages and am going to let this go for now, however:
The problem is EDITING EXISTING pages. New pages and all posts work fine. This page looks fine to a reader, but I can’t add additional images where needed when editing. They all default to the top of the page no matter where I insert them.
I did more testing and other pages I tested are working properly. That seems to indicate a bug in the code for this particular page: https://explorationvacation.net/exploring-usa/minnesota-travel-guide/minnesota-state-park-travel-guide/
Obviously I can insert the image at the top, copy the code, and paste the code where I want the image to appear — this is a pain because this is a very long page.
I was hoping you’d be able to spot something in the code on this particular page that got messed up – this page is 10 years old and updated many times, so there’s lots of opportunities for something to break.
However, if it’s really just this one page, I can work around the problem for now. I’ll be updating a lot of old pages this year, so if I run into this elsewhere I will need it fixed then.

April 28, 2023 at 10:41 am in reply to: memory error in WordPress 6.8 in Catch Responsive Pro #317800cindyParticipantIt wasn’t a problem until I upgraded WordPress. (And I have 1 gig of memory.) I’m guessing it’s going into an infinite loop, which seems to be a theme issue. https://round2begins.com/wordpress-update-critical-error-problem/ Can you check and make sure that’s not the issue?
cindyParticipantYeah, several things changed to the default. But I think I found and fixed them now. You can close this one.
Thanks.cindyParticipantAny thoughts on this? I’d like to try just using the thumbnails generated by WordPress. If I find there is something I can’t address that way, then I can look at that issue separately.
Thanks.cindyParticipantI don’t think I need or want the theme to create any thumbnails.
I can generate the 200×200 thumbnails I’m using for the featured content through WordPress. I can also get a few intermediate sizes I use through WordPress sizes. Anything else that needs to be an odd size is properly sized before uploading.
cindyParticipantThanks Skandaha!
(You can keep my money:-)Is there something I need to be doing differently (aside from not using a full-size image)? This time I even made sure to load the image with the default setting at 200×200 – and it didn’t help.
Sorry about the spam – I didn’t really occur to me that you’d have a lot of that on a support forum, but I suppose they’ll do that anywhere.
cindyParticipantAnd WHY are support comments being moderated? Is that a way of controlling complaints?
January 6, 2021 at 9:20 am in reply to: latest catch responsive pro not allowing edit access from site #270059cindyParticipantI don’t recall what was causing this (or if I ever figured it out), but the issue is resolved and this one can be closed.
cindyParticipantAnd?????
cindyParticipantNever mind. It was a conflict with Rocket.

I’d still like this to work
December 11, 2020 at 10:40 pm in reply to: change image size for featured content in Catch responsive pro #267831cindyParticipantCheck the code you gave me above – is there possibly an error in it?
December 8, 2020 at 8:49 am in reply to: change image size for featured content in Catch responsive pro #267530cindyParticipantStill waiting. Meanwhile the home page looks shitty.
December 6, 2020 at 9:54 pm in reply to: change image size for featured content in Catch responsive pro #267399cindyParticipantNot working again. Just sent another email. This is getting really old.
November 9, 2020 at 11:06 pm in reply to: change image size for featured content in Catch responsive pro #265255cindyParticipantCan it be set to use the thumbnail or something that works? (Kind of wishing I hadn’t renewed my theme for another year at this point.)
cindyParticipantI’ve tried both. Neither works. Neither does <br>

October 14, 2020 at 11:55 am in reply to: change image size for featured content in Catch responsive pro #262540cindyParticipantThey are the same size. They should all be 600×600. The difference seems to be related to whatever the default setting for inserting an image into a post was set at when I uploaded the image. But the image is only used as the feature image in the post, otherwise hidden and I don’t have an easy way to get in and adjust that.
Can we just change it so it grabs the thumbnail used for the featured image instead of just grabbing grabbing and cropping the featured image?
Thanks.
CindycindyParticipantThanks. I’ll update now knowing I can switch later.
October 10, 2020 at 3:41 pm in reply to: change image size for featured content in Catch responsive pro #262052cindyParticipantNope. Doesn’t seem to make a difference.
It’s odd, because some worked even before trying this, and others don’t. See https://explorationvacation.net/
