@bowessurnames: For the page title to only appear in sub-menu and not top menu you will need to a lot of customization. If you really need this I suggest you to hire a customizer.

I checked your site on Mac Firefox and they were showing bold.

Let me know no which headings the code is not being effective.

Do you mean that you want the content area to be larger? If yes then it is possible. Let me know where you want the content area area to be larger?

To have somepages with 2 columns with french and english parts I suggest you to hire a customizer.

@spokehouse: There seems to a bug which will be fixed in the next theme update. Till then you can use the following CSS Code to fix the issue.

Go to => Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS and add the following CSS Code.

.site-header-text {
    opacity:0;
}

@lutzjkochgmail-com: The solution I provided in the previous reply should work fine. Let me know what is the issue after you applied the last solution.

Also I suggest you not to edit theme files without creating a child theme. This way you will loose all your customizations when you update the theme to its latest version. So always creating a child theme if you have to make changes to core theme files.
