The events post are ordered in the order you set them in Events section in the customizer.
Post 1 display in the first column, Post 2 in the second column and so on. The date of the event doesnot determine the order of the event posts rather they are ordered in the way you select posts in the customizer.

Go to => Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS and add the following CSS Code.

      padding:0;
}

@catwingz: I’m afraid it is not possible not way. To adjust the banner size you will need to use the padding property of .custom-header-content selector.

Alternatively what you can do is resize the banner image so that it shows up well in smaller screens and you can different image in desktop screen and mobile screens.

The Footer Editor Option to edit the copyright text in the footer is only available in pro version of the theme. I suggest you to upgrade to pro. You can check out the additional-features available in pro version of the theme.

@coconuts4sale: Go to => Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Featured Content => Uncheck Check to Enable Slider Option.
Also Select the No of Featured Content you want to display.

There is 3.0.1 theme update available for download. Has your theme subscription expired? If so you will need to renew your subscription to be able to download the theme updates.
Also to move the secondary menu below the Header Image you will need to create a child theme and do a bit of customization. Let me know if you are familiar with child theme customization otherwise I suggest you to hire a customizer to get it done.

@johns: First Go to => Dashboard => Pages => Add two pages and insert a Featured Image to those pages.

Then,
Go to => Appearance => Customize => Featured Slider => Enable the Featured Slider => Select the pages you created before.
