You don’t seem to have a link in the Featured Content Option. If you select Display Content as Show Excerpt a Read More link will show up along with the excerpt. The Link Color will then change the color of Read More link.

The only way to recover your customizer settings is if you had your database backed. You can try restoring your database if you have a backup.

To prevent this from happening we had setup a message Caution: Reset all settings to default. Process is irreversible. when you click on Reset in the customizer but looks like you went through with Caution message as well.

Let me know if you are able to recover your customizer settings.

In the new update we have included a feature Section Sorter using which you can move all the section in any order you want.

Go to => Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Section Sorter => Now you can move the Featured Content Section to the position you want.

This is difficult to achieve because when you have text in the header image position is used to align the text container with the header image and the header image size in smaller screens depends on the amount of text over the image.

What you can try doing is crop the whole header image section on your homepage like in this screenshot. Then upload the image as the header image and see how it looks in the smaller screens.

I think the image is not showing full width because of its size. Try uploading images of size 1920*600px or similar aspect ratio.

Regarding the SSL issue can you please enable the right click on your website so that I can look into the issue.
Can you please re upload the Featured Content Background Image and upload it using https before URL.

Go to => Appearance => Customize => Menus => Create a Menu => Give a menu name and click Next => Add Items => Custom Links => Add you social media links in the URL text area.

This way you can add all your social media icons in the menu.
