The structure used in the theme is the same structure that has been used in WordPress code. If you would like to change that.
Copy the searchform.php file from the parent theme folder to child theme folder and make the required changes.

To make the social links open in new tab,
Go to => Appearance => Menus => On top right you will see Screen Options => Click on Screen Options and Check the option Link Target under Show advanced menu properties.

Then,
Below on Select a menu to edit and Select your Social Menu and Click on Select.

Finally click on your menu items and check the option Open in New tab and Save Menu.

Automatic Update feature has been added in version 2.3 using which you can update the theme from WP Dashboard itself. Since you are using a lower version you will need to manually update the theme for this time.
To update the theme you’ll need to first download the theme from your https://catchthemes.com/my-account/ page. Then,
Go to => Appearance => Themes => Add New => Upload Theme => Select the .zip folder and Click Install Now.

Your theme should be updated.

Regarding the menu not showing up on other pages except homepage. This seems to be a little bug which will be fixed in the upcoming theme update. I will let you know when the update is released.
