Can you let me know what type of pages get broken. It shouldn’t be like that if you haven’t made changes to core theme files

If you have translation of Free theme then you can add that files in pro theme languages folder. If you want to contribute then let me know it. I will add that language file in both free and pro version. No, you don’t required you to start translation from scratch. You can just copy the file and then start it by translating additional strings.

@leotrim77: For that you don’t need to change it in Layout Options. This option from “Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Layout Options” is for overall site. If you just want to edit it for static page/post, then you need to edit that page and below that page content editor, you will see Catch Responsive options from there, you can change “Layout Options”. @marga: Yes, if you are just using Custom CSs from “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS”. You don’t need child theme, if you are just customizing css.

Which css you copied. If you copy it from http://catchthemes.com/blog/create-child-theme-wordpress/, then you need to add both style.css and functions.php files.

@JDC: Thanks for showing issue, we are working in WooCommerce layout for this theme and will be adding in new version update. For now, you can add the following css in “Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box to hide it.

@JDC: I check in your site other pages like http://www.everygoodgift.org/faq/ and see that you have empty “Text Widget” there. So, go to “Appearance => Widgets” and check your sidebars, you must have empty text widget there. So, it is showing blank sidebar.

That popular places section is called “Featured Content” and you can replace that demo featured content with “Appearance => Theme Options => Homepage Settings => Homepage Featured Content Options” and then add in your title, content and images as per your need.

You shouldn’t edit the theme core file directly, you need to edit using Theme Options and if you want more to edit then you need to build child theme and edit it.

@Silk: We don’t have german language file in Simple Catch Pro theme. You need to create de_DE.po and de_DE.mo file in your theme language folder. So, if you want to help in translation then I can create file and send you email. Then you can add in missing translation.
