Keymaster@oly: Looking at your requirement non of the theme will have 100% fit. You need to adjust it. So look for the best fit theme and do the customization.

Keymaster@trentbuzz: There is not page template to display certain post category. For that you might need to search for plugins.

May 23, 2013 at 4:40 pm in reply to: Stop footer from coming up too high on pages where there is little content #9362Sakin
Keymaster@oly: Yes you can adjust the minimum height and add it in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box.
#main { min-height: 500px; }Sakin
Keymaster@marko2028: Hum there is no option to remove the menu bar. But yes you can hide the menu bar by adding the following CSS in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box.
#header-menu { display: none; }Sakin
Keymaster@Ed: For most of the question first please check the Theme Instruction page http://catchthemes.com/theme-instructions/catch-mustang/
You can add any page, post, gallery from Custom Menu. Go to “Appearance => Menus” and build custom menu when you can just select the page, post, gallery and categories you want in menu and then add to menu. See this for more details about custom menu http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
I don’t see that you have added “Catchthemes: Featured Gallery” widget in sidebar.
Yes, the gallery page might be conflicting. You should change or delete it.
You can add your gallery page in Custom menu as explain in above paragraph.
Yes, it’ bit difficult to jump to WordPress theme directly from HTML/CSS. But I will try to help you as much as I can.

Keymaster@cre8ve1: You cannot use shortcode in the Homepage Featured Content options area. For that you need to hire a developer and build child theme.

To change the sidebar background color to white. Just add the following CSS in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box.
#secondary { background-color: #fff; } #secondary .widget { padding: 10px 5% 0; }Sakin
Keymaster@billverner: Send me your site URL so that I can check in what you are tying to say and will send you the css.
Sakin
Keymaster@cbtoolkit: When you change any core file. You need to build child theme and then edit. This will prevent you loose any change while you update.
Can you show me where you can to display the URL. So, that I can send you the css to show only on that page.
May 23, 2013 at 11:22 am in reply to: Decrease slider size and remove white spaces in Catch Everest Pro #9349Sakin
Keymaster@saadghauri: Thanks for your questions. You site looks nice. Thanks for using Catch Everest Pro theme.
I would like to decrease the size of the slider from Width: 1140px
Height: 450px to Width: 1140px Height: 250px, how do I do this?
— I think you have already found the solution for this. You just need to use the Featured Image Slider and then you can upload your own custom size images.Secondly there is too much empty space everywhere, I am being asked to reduce this, how do I do that?
— This is clean and responsive design. So, the spaces are changed as per the screen size. You need to be specific on your question about which space you want to change and in which screen sizes range.Specifically I would like to reduce the space on home page between home page text, bottom bar and footer. That is, the space after the ‘Microsoft Great Plains), Microsoft dynamics ®CRM and Microsoft Dynamics ® AX (formerly Microsoft Axapta.)’ text ends
— You can adjust the padding in the following CSS and add it in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box.@media screen and (min-width: 1060px) { .home .hentry { padding-bottom: 50px; } }Sakin
Keymaster@cbtoolkit: Thanks a lot for pointing out the issue in Catch Box Pro Theme. We will fix this issue in upcoming version 2.3. Until the release you have just hide the slider in the blog page by adding the following CSS in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box.
.blog #slider { display: none; }Sakin
Keymaster@MandyJean: Yes that nice. I see there is still one link you haven’t migrates. See your footer DISCLAIMER.
Sakin
Keymaster@impresnet: Sorry I gave you the wrong css. Change it with the following
#site-generator .site-info { padding: 40px 0; }Sakin
Keymaster@impresnet: You can adjust the footer height by adjusting footer padding. Just adjust the padding and add it in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box.
#site-generator .site-info { padding: 4rem 0; }For footer credit, it on single line only. You cannot change footer credit in free version.
