@marco-cherin: We checked you site, and its really strange how the image in the slider is not appearing. For testing, We used post title “Program” and it displayed fine no matter how many times We refresh the page. We checked it different browsers too, just to make sure. We’ve reverted the slider image back to the one you’ve put. Please try adding a new one and test if it works.
And the other issue you’ve mentioned.
* My header image does not link to the homepage

@jeyla: Thank you for using Catch Base Pro theme. The issue is because you’ve fixed the sidebar. If you want the sidebar to the left, go to Dashboard=> Appearance=> Customize=> Theme Options=> Layout Option and select Primary Sidebar, Content in Default Layout option.

@klhaight: In Pro version, there are header widget areas available with which you can add social media buttons in header. I recommend you to upgrade to Pro.
If you want to have it in the Free version, you’ll need to customize the theme. For that I recommend you to hire a custoimzer.

@dercncplaner: On the slider, custom truncate is being used (substr) which I’m afraid actually doesn’t work with arabic language. But on the other such as blogs list, featured grid etc. the excerpt works. Hope you understand.
