    I got this fixed by changing the widget locations around. However, now featured images are not displaying? Each of the 6 Featured pages on the homepage have a featured image which should be displaying:

    http://riverandrailrestaurant.com

    What changed?

    Perfect, thank you. I’d also like to keep the social media button in the header right sidebar but remove the search options altogether; the instructions say this is in Navigation options but I could not locate it.

    Last one and I’ll let someone respond…I actually do want to remove the primary menus from featured content pages and use only secondary, and have it set up that way under Menu option, menu locations, etc…but it is still there. I can get rid of the secondary menu, but not the Primary. Am I missing something simple?

    Actually, I am not sure I even want to do that now. But can I hide the page title? Trying to hide “HOME” on the home page, for example

    actually @Sakin, is there a way to customize the color of the menu items when responsiveness is enabled on mobile devices?

    nevermind! once I set the overall content area color to transparent, that did it. Thanks so much for the help!

    Well, I tried but that made the main content area on every page solid (no transparency), including the home page. It DID add a small, partially transparent “bridge” between content background and footer on non-hompage pages, but that was the only tranparent part; the rest was a solid color. I wish I could leave it to show you but it is a live site now

    The only remaining problem is that there is connectivity between footer (dark blue) and content area (gray.transparent) on the homepage, but not on any other pages
