Thanks Sakin, I thought I might have an error and I did try to find my mistake before I posted.

I just can’t seem to figure it out. Whenever I delete something it screws up something else. ugh

At this time the menu background color is set to #fff (I’ve also tried #fffff and a bunch of others)
The menu text color is set to #404040
The menu hover is #eee
I also tried reset color but that didn’t do anything either.

I still can’t seem to remove the titles “home” and “category archives: projects”

Does it matter where I put this in the custom css or is there something else in there that’s interfering

Thanks Sakin, but it doesn’t seem to work. The black outline comes up after you click on it. Is it something to do with the current-menu-item or current_page_item. I cleared the cache.

I’ve tried that, but I want different sizes and alignments for the title vs. the post body and just can’t seem to get that right.
