Thanks for your reply. I will look into a customizer for the promotion area.

I don’t think the font I want to use is a google font, but I use it in my logo and it is has become like a signature, so it makes sense to me to use it there. It is called Playlist Script.

If it isn’t possible to use this font in custom css, could I design an signature image and insert it in place of the site title?

I also would like to add a background image to the promotion header. I tried the code suggested above

#promotion-message { background-image: “your image url”; }

but it isn’t working. It still displays just the text.

Any suggestions?
