I installed the theme on my website and in the customizer I chose Front Page for the home page. If I load that page in the pages section it does not show my change I made.

I was also looking for the install instructions on your and can’t find anything on this one.

Also I wanted to try setting up the free version before I got the pro to see how it would go.

Do you mean the contents of Frontpage that you have set on your back end is not appearing?
