I have created 3 pages that I want Featured Content to be pointed at. I have these pages as daughter pages of the same Parent page. How can I change how Featured Content works?

@rjoffe09 : Login to your WordPress Admin
Go to Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Featured Content

Under Enable On : Select Homepage/Front page or Entire site as desired.
Under Type: Select page
and Select the three pages that you have created from the drop-down

Not only does that not resolve my issue, it actually randomly grabs any pages it wants and I have no option to make changes to choose a different page. If I do get a different page some how selected it shows all content and not just the first 20 words even though that is selected.

I was under the impression, especially after building another site using another theme that this should be fairly simple to build my site. I have literally burned through 4+ days and have accomplished just about nothing. I am very upset and feel as though I have wasted money and time.

How can I get you or someone to help me with this?

The original site that I purchased was clean blocks dark. I liked the look with the 3 featured blocks under the larger header media on top. I wanted to just replace the photos and content and have the style remain the same, that did not go right and my site looks nothing like that. When I go and try to modify menus some disappear, some words become link symbols, then my Facebook link vanishes then it reappears and my workshops appear and the main menu goes away. I document on one page and the content goes somewhere else. I am so confused. I wanted side by side event boxes to advertise my workshops and then add a button to register that pops up a calendar registration. I was then going to add a method to pay.

Can I call you? I am so confused at this point.

So I went to Homepage settings- it only has two settings listed: Static page and latest post are only two options that come up. Maybe that is the issue?

Hi I didn’t see an e-mail. This is what I want to do:
https://catchthemes.com/demo/clean-blocks-dark/ and I think that is what I bought and installed. I was hoping to just click and replace my content with the website- that is not happening at all.
This is what it looks like from my end. It is not clean and professional like the one I chose.
I need to be able to have people press a button, register for a workshop attached to a calendar, and be sent an e-mail confirming that with some additional forms. I also need to be able to link the square to it. My hosting is through Go Daddy and WP processing is installed

My current site looks like this. It is not nearly the same. I want the featured page to look just like the one I bought. I am willing to have someone do that for me if possible.
