Hi,
I ran into a lot of unexpected troubles with the Header Media option.
Here’s the issue :
What I want : I want the header on pages and posts but not on the frontpage
What I did : Chose : Excluding Homepage in the settings ( https://catchthemes.com/frequently-asked-questions/#question-basics-5 )
What I got : Big black area with Site Header text on the Homepage !!
The only way I found not to have this black area is to disable Header media entirely (!!)

Thank you in advance for your help

Regards

@hichamarobasque-ch: Login to your WordPress admin section. Go to Appearance => Customize => Header Media
Under Enable on : Select Excluding Homepage.
Scroll down and locate Header Media Title : Make sure the field is blank. If there is any text remove it from there.
Similarly, remove any text from Site Header Text, Header Media Url and Header Media Url Text. Click on publish to save your setting. Let me know if this works or not.

@richardrandle1971: Please follow the similar instruction as mentioned above.

Regards,
Tikaram
