I have used this theme for a few years now and have a featured image set for all posts, but some are no longer showing. I have gone in and deleted the image, reloaded the post, re-set the featured image and saved, but it still does not show. Not on every page, just a few. Very annoying….

In my wordpress editing page the featured image does not even show in the sidebar, but the option shows. I also have NextGen Gallery running, and there is no longer an option to insert a gallery image as a featured image. If I open the page in the editor, it seems the featured image then disappears from the post, without even saving. Now quite a few of my posts are no longer showing the featured image.

If I create a new post, the NextGen Gallery option shows up in the featured image option. it works fine, but the Featured image option from the media library does not work. After saving and then going back into the edit mode, nothing works……either a problem with NExtGen or featured image…not sure what.

@dward1958 : Please try updating WordPress to the latest version and try disabling all plugins. Follow this link to know more about plugin conflict with our themes. Try doing a fresh installation of the theme again and let me know if the problem still persist.
