Hi, I have added a Youtube link as header video, but I don’t get audio, how can I address that?
And I see the video autoplays, is there a way to have it not auto played and let the user select to play it?

For that you will need to use our Header Enhancement Plugin. Install and Activate the theme.

Thanks for the fix Skandha! that did the trick 🙂

One final thing, the play button is at the top right, where as the youtube play button is shown at the middle where it does not work, this can be confusing for the end user, anyway that we can bring the play button to the middle of the video?

Go to => Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS and add the following CSS Code.

#wp-custom-header-video-button {
    top: 50%;
    right: 50%;
}

You can change the values to place the button on desired location.

Thanks Skandha, that did the trick!

2 final things I need assistance on please:

1- The site somehow does not seem to load fully (the loading bar never reaches the end) when I try to open up the page on my phone, I have tried it on 2 iPhones (Safari), you can check it out yourself if possible at https://mohammadafshari.com/resume/ . If you try it on a laptop it works fine.

2- Also in Safari on my MacBook, there is a grey section under the video which I do not see when I browse with Chrome?

1. I checked your site on my phone and it seems to be loading fine. Can you try other browsers on your phone and check if the same thing happens?

Hi Skandha, thanks I checked on Chrome on my iPhone and it works fine.. just a weird behaviour.

Hi Skandha, just to let you know, I tried again with chrome browser on my phone, and now I get the same behavior that the page load bar never finishes, you might wanna try on your end with the same browser/phone to see if it happens to you as well or not?

Hi Skahnda, sorry for another reply, but I replaced the Youtube video with the image, and the issue goes away.. the its got to be the video that is causing this somehow, I also tried with different Youtube videos and it still is the same case.

And BTW does the video loop once you play it? it does not stop at the end?
