I don’t know when this change happened as someone else has been editing for the past few months, but my links are showing *in the dashboard editing screen* as black against a black background – not very helpful! Is there a way to change this? They’ve always been a different colour than my site – but prior it was all greys, and now it’s greys for flat text, and black for links (hover text is orange on both, that hasn’t changed).

Doing an inspect it’s the .edit-post-visual-editor a field that is now defaulting to black (even though the colours for my site show white).

A screenshot comparing the editor to the live site is at: https://www.writersdrinkingcoffee.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/editor-font-color-issues.png if you can’t see it here.

    Hello @deirdrebeth,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused but that should not happen. You just have color issues in dashboard editor? You can add additional css to adjust the color, that can help. Please let me know what are the parts causing issue.

    Regards,
    Sujeet

    Hi Sujeet,

I’m not sure what additional information you need.
The issue is with the coding identifier (.edit-post-visual-editor a).
It’s all links within the dashboard editor.
You can see what it looks like in the image I linked.

If I add this CSS you will provide, will it stay when the app next updates?

Let me know what else you need,

    deirdrebeth
