    @paul-mac: Hello Paul,
    If you are using Post,Page or Category type Featured Slider you will need to edit the post/pages you have selected in the slider. If you are using Custom Type then you will need to insert text into the Title and Content fields in the customizer.

    Let me know if this solves your issue.
    Kind Regards,
    Skandha

    @chregi1998: The recommended image size for featured slider is 960×960. Please change your images to 960×960 so that the part of the images will not be cropped. If you add images of greater dimension the edges of the images will get cropped. Let me know if you have any more issues.

    Regards,
    Tikaram

    @traviseffexagency: Hello there,
    I checked your site and 3 slides are showing up in the Featured Slider. Are the slides on the featured slider not showing the pages you selected?

    Kind Regards,
    Skandha

    Hi. Can you help me with this? I am trying to get the featured slider to appear after the Gallery on the front page. No matter where I place Slider in the Sections Sorter, it always appears before the Gallery. Thanks!

    BTW – tried to leave a review on WordPress site but for some reason when I try to register, it says all my email address are invalid – very strange – will try again next time.

    Hello Skandha
    Thank you for your help. The problem is the same as before. The customized featured-slider.php, which randomly arranges the slider images, does not work like this. The images are always displayed in the same order.
    regards
    Heinz

    I did a little more testing. I activate the subordinate template (vah.ch \ wp-content \ themes \ catch-fullscresn-pro-main screen). Then the customized featured-slider.php does not work. Now I have copied this into the superordinate template (vah.ch \ wp-content \ themes \ catch-fullscreen-pro \ inc) and now it works. This means that despite the change, the wrong directory is being accessed.

    @piter-seil: Hello there,
    The slider text already seems to be using the Cantarell Font.
    Go to => Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS and add the following CSS Code.

    /* To insert a background behind the slider text */
    .main-slider .entry-title span {
    	background-color: rgba(200,150,176,0.6)
    }
    /* To remove slider dots */
    .cycle-pager {
        display: none;
    }

    The recommended image size for featured slider is 1920*1080px.

    You can change the color and opacity of the background according to your choice.
    Let me know if this works out!
    Kind Regards,
    Skandha

    Thanks, I need more CSS code and customize:
    1) Code to insert the font Cantarell, sans-serif
    2) Code to insert a background behind the text
    3) What is the best photo size for the featured slider? If I upload multiple photos, they each have different sizes but I want them to be homogeneous
    4) If I only upload one photo in the featured slider (not two or three), can I remove the red / orange dot under the photo?

    Thank you

    Hello

    This was sent automatically by WordPress. Here the mail is translated.

    Hello!

    Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in function that recognizes when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your website and notifies you with this automated e-mail.

    In this case, WordPress caught a bug in your “Catch Fullscreen Pro” theme.

    First, visit your website (https://vah.ch/) and check for any visible problems. Next, visit the page on which the error occurred (https://vah.ch/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php) and check whether there are any visible problems.

    Please contact your hosting company for assistance in further investigating this issue.

    If your website appears to be buggy and you can no longer access your dashboard as usual, WordPress now has a special “recovery mode”. That way, you can securely log into your dashboard and conduct further research.

    https://vah.ch/wp-login.php?action=enter_recovery_mode&rm_token=u94Rft9JoPc7bdBghpTTse&rm_key=wrSLcMTTm02dqOjtLIkTWX

    To protect your website, this link will expire in 1 day. But don’t worry: a new link will be emailed to you if the error occurs again after the deadline.

    When seeking help with this problem, you may be asked for some of the following information:
    WordPress version 5.7.2
    Current theme: Catch Fullscreen Pro (version 3.5.4) Current plugin: (version) PHP version 7.4.18

    Bug details

    @reenad10: Hello there,
    1 & 2. For that you will need to use Custom Type Featured Slider which is only available in the pro version of the theme. I suggest you to upgrade to pro. You can check out the additional-features available in the theme.

    3. You seem to have a lot of text on the footer. However the footer seems to look fine on mobile view. Can you please elaborate the issue?

    Let me know if this works out!
    Kind Regards,
    Skandha

    In addition, the settings for image position in the menu “theme options –> featured slider –> mobile use” are set to “center center”. But it just does not do this.

    Thank you for the overlay – that works great.

    I changed the Featured Slider to use Slider Type = Custom instead of a Post. I added the same image and now it is centered (was offset when I used Post as the source of the slider images). I can add Title and Content without anything changing. But, the 1920×720 image is expanded to fill the 1920×1200 screen, cropping off both sides and making everything else a little blurry. How do I simply keep the image to 720px height maximum?

    @thetravelgal: Hello Cindy,
    Can you please
    Go to => Child Theme Folder => functions.php and add the following Code.

    	remove_image_size( 'catchresponsive-slider', 1200, 514, true ); // used for Featured slider Ratio 21:9

    	remove_image_size( 'catchresponsive-featured-content', 350, 197, true ); // used in Featured Content and Portfolio Ratio 16:9

    	remove_image_size( 'catchresponsive-hero', 528, 297, true ); // used in Hero Content

    	//Archive Images
    	remove_image_size( 'catchresponsive-featured', 860, 484, true); // used in Archive Top Ratio 16:9
    	remove_image_size( 'catchresponsive-square', 200, 200, true ); // used in Archive Left/Right Ratio 1:1

    	remove_image_size( 'catchresponsive-sm-square', 100, 100, true ); // used in Testimonials and Services Ratio 1:1

    	remove_image_size( 'catchresponsive-stats', 40, 40, true ); // used in Stats Ratio 1:1
    }
    add_action('init', 'remove_extra_image_sizes');

    And then regenerate the thumbnails.
    Let me know if this works out!
    Kind Regards,
    Skandha
