    Hi,

    I have been having two problems with the Featured Slider Effect Options recently, and will be grateful for any help!

    1. The Theme does not seem to remember the transition length I customise but keeps resetting it to 1.

    2. How do I make all the images I use in the slider same size. At the moment despite trying to edit/crop them, they vary slightly in size. This, together with the too fast transition time (see problem 1) makes them bumpy.

    You cannot access my site at the moment as I am revisin it and have activated plugin “Coming Soon”…. but I can provide details if necessary.

    Hi @Nadia,
    1. There looks to be an issue changing Transition Length from customizer as you have mentioned. For now, try changing that option from Appearance=> Theme Options=> Featured Slider(Tab)=> Slider Options=> Transition Length. We will fix the customizer issue in next version. Thank you for the report.

    2. Since the site is not live, can you let me know which Slider type you are using? If it is Image Slider, then you will need to upload all images with same size. It it is Post, Page or Category Slider, then you will need to regenerate the thumbnails using Regenerate Thumbnails Plugin

    Hello,

    Is there a shortcode for the featured slider, if you want to use it somewhere else in the theme?

    @vlts: There is no shortcode functionality for slider, but you can display slider in templates by using function catchbox_sliders()

    @vlts:
    Php code will not work in widgets, you will need to add them in php templates. If you have no idea about how it is suppose to work, please hire a customizer.

    Hi and Thank you very much for your help!

    After adjusting all the images to have the same size and loading them slider functions smoothly. However, I am not able to move slider between the header and the home menu….How do I do this please? At the moemnt slider is under the main menu…

    Dear Pratik,

    Thank you very much for your prompt response- in the mean time I found an alternative solution (which doesn’t resolve the issue but rather goes around it ;))- I added an image in the heather and shank the slider’s width and am happy with this for now.
    However, now when I type in my site address on my phone, the slider does not appear at all and the colours are different… My site is brightbraincentre dot co dot uk

    @nadiahri: Sorry, moving slider between header and menu is not possible in this theme. I guess you’ve posted another post for this for which I requested you for the site URL. So I’ll skip the other post. And please do not post the same question in two posts.
    And as for another issue you’ve mentioned. Are you using any plugins? If yes, try disabling it and try again. Let me know if the issue persists.

    Thank you very much for your help. I do have some antispam and seo plugins active. Will try de-activating them and re-activating today after work and will let you know.
