Hi: I’m using this theme for a Blog, it’s quite good and I’m seriously considering updating to the Pro version in the near future. I’ve come up with an issue, though, previously the featured imaged of my posts were adapting on the Homepage where the latest post are shown.
For some reason, it’s no longer happening, in my latest post is getting cropped. I don’t know how to solve it, look here please:

I think you’ll see what I mean. Thank you in advanced for any help.
EduardoOctober 30, 2015 at 7:39 am #78792SakinKeymaster@defuentes: The recommend image size for your latest post is width 410px and height 231px. So, all the image above this size will be auto cropped to this size. But if any image is smaller then this, then it will load the original image. It’s happening same in your site. For example: Article “Berkshire County: By the numbers Home Invasion” has featured image http://www.charmfuldeadthings.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/berkshire-county-movie-poster1.jpg. SO, it’s loading original image. Just upload larger image and it will be fine.
October 30, 2015 at 10:46 am #78812defuentesMemberThank you for the help Sakin, I see what you mean now. I produced an image with those dimensions (width 410px and height 231px) for my latest article: http://www.charmfuldeadthings.com/top-5-films-toronto-after-dark-film-festival-2015/ and now it’s showing in the Homepage complete.
Do you realize the one you mentioned from the Berkshire County article is actually bigger (with 336px height 500px), but it’s not getting cropped at all?http://www.charmfuldeadthings.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/berkshire-county-movie-poster1.jpg
And another issue I have, my latest article is not displaying preview image, text, description or anything in Facebook, if you copy+paste the url it doesn’t give you anything unlike the rest of my articles. Any idea what’s happening?
Thank you again Sakin, you are indeed as your profile says, a WordPress Rockstar!

1 The image you are talking about is width 336px width and 500px height. But we need width of at least 410px and height at least 231px. Your height is larger but width is smaller that if why you have issue. Try uploading image with width more then 410px.2. Why latest post in not giving you description in Facebook. You can install “SEO by Yoast” plugin and configure it. Then you can test it by adding your URL at https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ and then click on “Debug”. After this, you can click on “Fetch new scrape information”.

You rock Sakin. THANKS

November 5, 2015 at 2:36 am #79135defuentesMemberHi Sakin, sure I’ll leave a review, no problem. I have another issue which is again something that was working OK before. When I put a series of images on a table in a post they would resize so that all of them would be shown in a row at the same size adapting to whatever screen size they were bein displayed on.
Now some show bigger and others smaller, it’s a mess and I use that function a lot, look here:
http://www.charmfuldeadthings.com/gifts-for-the-one-who-comes-after-book-review/
Any idea why? Thank you again.
EduardoNovember 5, 2015 at 9:25 pm #79186SakinKeymaster@defuentes: I see that you have added in series of image in table which is not good method. I see that you have Jetpack plugin installed. So, you can use “Tiled Gallery” module. Just go to “Jetpack” settings and then activate “Tiled Gallery” and insert those images as gallery.
See this https://jetpack.me/support/tiled-galleries/ and example at https://en.blog.wordpress.com/2012/10/04/tiled-image-galleries/
November 5, 2015 at 9:27 pm #79187SakinKeymaster@defuentes: But if you still want to use that old table in that post, then you can add the following css in “Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Custom CSS Options” box:
.postid-296 .site-main td { display: block; float: left; width: 33.33%; }
November 6, 2015 at 2:59 am #79200defuentesMemberOMG that’s awesome Saking, I’m using Jetpack now and it’s perfect. THANK YOU AGAIN! No need for the CSS since that would only solve that one post and this is something I plan on doing on many. You’re awesome!
