    I have just logged on and found next to the Copyright notice two links for spam sites. We had an expert do a small modification to the theme when the site was created to allow for the Jinx javascript includer and so have not updated the theme from 1.0.7 as we would not know how to reproduce these changes. How can we get rid of these spam links. I am not very technical so any help needs to be very simple please 🙂 The site is http://www.ethnicpolitics.org/

    Solved it by hooking up to FTP and wading into the php….not something I ever like doing but manned up enough to give it a go and it worked 🙂

    @Nicki: It’s great that it solved. Keep your site Safe and Secure. Spam mean there might be some sort of hacking. You can check this slide which talks about building secure WordPress site. http://www.slideshare.net/catchinternet/building-secure-word-press-sites-catchinternet
