Dear reader, I am currently working to set up a multi-language site with the theme Catch Kathmandu Pro. Is it possible to switch the text on the homepage at the featered image. I am now working with the pluginn Poly Lang. Thanks in advance for your reply.
November 25, 2014 at 6:55 pm #48051SakinKeymaster@Robert: Sorry I am not sure about how Poly Lang work. You need to ask in that plugin support forum. Catch Kathmandu Pro has however already worked with WPML plugin to make it multi-language site. See this http://wpml.org/theme/catch-kathmandu-pro/

I´ve installed the Plugin BWS multilanguage. But it seems like I can´t use it in Theme Options. How do I solve that?February 5, 2015 at 5:40 pm #51147SakinKeymaster@Michael: So many multilanguage plugin these day. Sorry we are not aware of this. Can you try WPML or qTranslate or mqTranslate or Polylang. I have seen user using these plugin. For plugin, please ask in plugin support forum.

I installed qTranslate, it messed up the whole thing up completely 🙂 Now I installed Polylang. It works ok, but not near as good as BWS multilanguage… How do I install the flags in Polylang so it´s possible to see them on the website?
February 6, 2015 at 3:24 pm #51202MichaelMemberHi Sakin
Just to follow up on the above… I´ve had to uninstall Polylang, as pages was changes and buttons on the phone dissapeared.
May I suggest that you have a look at BWS multilanguage and develop that into Catch Kathmandu? It was really simple to set up, but missed the opportunity to change Theme Options.
If not, I need some kind of assurance that the ML´s you suggest actually works. Maybe WP changed some stuff that you are not aware of, as they don´t work at the moment.
Let me know what to do on this.

But we always recommend WPML plugin. They are plugin mulit-language plugin and they have certified Catch Kathmandu Pro as compatible. http://wpml.org/theme/catch-kathmandu-pro/
February 8, 2015 at 7:59 pm #51290SakinKeymasterI don’t think BWS multilanguage plugin has string translation option. We provide support to the plugin after plugin author send us the instructions to add in.

I have installed the mqtranslation. I have some questions for you in that regard…
Where do I change the language in Theme Options?
How do I make the flags appear on my website? I want them in them right in the middle of the header between logo social network icons

About the flag, as per my knowledge that have “Language Switcher” widget. You can add that widget to your sidebar from “Appearance => Widgets”
Theme option text like Promotion headline and all. You need to add in like like this I think so. For better support you need to ask in their support forum.
