My site http://casadelrey.no/ has been working nicely with Catch Everest Pro for a few years and I have regularly upgraded to the theme’s latest version. Recently I was informed the that the menu wasn’t working on iPhone iOS 10.2.1. I have tested on Android and it is working ok there. Is this a known issue and how can I fix the problem?

Also, it would be nice to have the option to choose whether the menu on mobile devices is displayed collapsed instead of as a long list. That would be similar to the desktop’s dropdown menu.

@michaelking: I checked your site and its working fine on iOS too. May be some caching issue. Please try clearing the cache.

Thanks. I have cleared cache. Upgraded to the newest iOS and newest Catch Everest Pro and still not working. Any further suggestions are welcomed?

@michaelking: In which device are you checking in? I just check in my iPhone and it’s working fine. Check out this screenshot of your site https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/81234910/michaelking.PNG

@Sakin: Thanks, but it’s the responsive menu which is not performing. I have checked on iPhone 6 and 7 (not plus size). If you click on the hamburger menu the dropdown menu-list unfolds. So far so good. Navigating with the menu becomes impossible. Either no response at all or irregular random results. I deleted and re-created the menu yesterday, but I get the same result. It does work on Samsung Galaxy and desktop.

Right now, our hosting provider is having issues with their service. I will update asap.

OK. It’s back online. Menu still not working on iPhone though. If you click on the menu to unfold it and then try to click on “Bilder” or “Playas” there is no response other than displaying Home page.

@michaelking: I just tested your site in details with various phone. Yes, there is issue in iPhone IOS devices where as no issue in Android phone. Then I check in our demo URL https://catchthemes.com/demo/catch-everest/ and it’s working perfectly in all devices.

So, the problem seems to be only with your site URL. The problem seems to be coming from your customization. Can you remove the Custom CSS that you have added in and test it?

OK. All custom CSS has now been removed. Still not working. However, if I open a responsive menu item in a new tab on the phone it seems to work. The link must be correct as it works on the desktop and in a new tab on the phone. Now that all custom CSS has been removed without it making a difference, I would think it has something to do with the original code.

@michaelking: It’s something on your site as demo is working fine. Now, I guess some plugin conflict or settings. I will send you email to check in your site directly. Thanks.

Problem solved! Sakin’s theory regarding a Plugin conflict turned out to be the problem! After disabling JQuery Updater plugin the menu started working perfectly again. Thanks for the advice.
