    You helped me fix this. But since I added an SEO plugin, all is not working. When you select my homepage it still shows the page name, and when I remove it from the menu it still appears. Also, the permalinks do not post correctly.

    Yes. A week ago I had issues with my homepage. You provided me with a CSS line an that fixed the problem.

    .home #content .entry-header { display: none; }

    However, after I installed WordPRESS SEO by Yoast, my homepage is now showing the Page Name (heading) in the body. Also if I attempt to remove the page from Appearance = Menu, it still appears on the website.

    I think if might be the SEO plugin causing the problem. Is there a recommended SEO plugin?

    Well, I just deactivated the plugin and that was not the problem.
