It is highly recommended to update the theme for security purpose as well as for WordPress changes. @aharguess: Sorry for the late reply as I didn’t got the notification of your reply. The formatting issue occurred because the post are supposed to display excerpt only and not the full content of the page on the homepage whereas on a single page the full content is displayed. If you would like to enable the full content option on the homepage you will need to Upgrade to Pro version of the theme to use this feature.
