@ville123: Go to => Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS and add the following CSS Code.

.main-navigation {
	background-color:#123456 !important;
}

You can change the color according to your requirement.

There seems to be an issue with the layout option. The issue will be resolved very soon in the next theme update. Sorry for inconvenience caused.

@alwelch1: You seem to have made some changes to the comment settings due to which comment option was not showing up on posts older than 28 days.

Go to => Dashboard => Settings => Discussion => Other Comment Settings => Uncheck the option Automatically close comments on articles older than

@mrhoni: If you have made changes to core theme files directly without creating a child theme then changes will be lost on theme update.

I don’t think there is anyway you can update the theme and retain the changes you made without creating a child theme.

You will need to update the theme to the latest theme and then again make those changes by creating a child theme.

@batrebios: To add demo data you will need to upload the demo data file to
Go to => Appearance => Customize => Tools => Import => WordPress(Run Importer) and upload your .xml file.

@alexlukovsky: I have setup the demo for you. As you can see the theme some features like the Menu is not available as it uses Food Menu of Essential Content Types Pro plugin which is only available in the pro version.

@diegostf: You will need to create a child theme and make changes then again make whole lot of css changes so it is complex. We have lots of other themes that may fullfill your requirement.

I checked the featured slider and it seems to be working fine. Let me know what issue you are having with the featured slider.

@rhiannacarter: The theme has been updated to 1.1.2. Sometimes you do not get notification of the theme update.

To update pro theme you’ll need to first download the theme from https://catchthemes.com/my-account/page. Then install Catch Web Tools plugin and activate Catch Updater Module. https://wordpress.org/plugins/catch-web-tools/

To edit featured slider on homepage
Go to => Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Featured Slider => Now you can edit the slider.

@ram130: Yes, it should overwrite your current theme with the pro version and keep the current customizations. But just to be on the safe side When you upload the theme you will see More Options, under that make sure you keep Create Backup to Yes.
The backup of your current theme will be stored in the Media files tab.
