Go to => Appearance => Menus => On top right hand corner Screen Options => Check the Link Target option.

Then,

Go to => Select a menu to edit: => Select Social Navigation and Click on Select.

Now,

Click on the menu items => Check the option Open link in a new tab => Save Menu

Since you have a large  Hero Content with a large height you will need to have the background on repeat or upload an image with a much much larger height than the current one.
