To have different header images on different pages
Go to => Appearance => Customize => Header Media => Enable on => Select Entire Site, Page/Post Featured Image and Publish.

This will make the featured image set for a particular post/page appear as the Header Image on that page.

You will need get the HTML code for the Google ad from your Adsense account and then

Go to => Appearance => Customize => Widgets => Choose a widget area where you want to have the ad => Add a widget => Custom HTML => Paste the code here and Publish.
