The link you posted is for the Theme Update and not for WordPress Update. To Update to WordPress 5.7

Go to => Dashboard => Updates
You should be able to see the option to update the WordPress Version.

The Footer Menu option is only available in pro version of the theme. I suggest you to upgrade to pro. You can check out the additional-features available in the theme.
