I just want to know how the front page settings should be…should the front page be static and if so from the drop down menu which page should I choose since my front/home page isn’t really a page

Hi I was just trying new ways to display images and used NextGen…big mistake, now my home page slider isn’t working and I don’t understand how to fix it. I deleted the plugin, what else can I do?

Ok, but can you please explain the purpose of the page slider then, i know you said it is to highlight your page but when you click on the picture it just takes you the same picture, there is no way to type any content in the page, if you do, it shows up in the slider. Im confused sorry.

also when the slider is set to pages, how do you make it so the images on the slider have no link or url

I want two of my menu items to be static as well with submenus linking to other pages. I tried to follow your instructions but didnt understand them…
I dont know why one of my menu items is doing what its supposed to despite the fact its considered a page and not a custom menu item. my site is http://www.wealthbuildingproperties.com

i would like the “condos” menu item and the “about us” to be static i.e. not linking anywhere. according to your instrucions i have to create a new custom menu then make these items links and from there i am lost…thanks

Figured it out, it was under the default font family, that actually changed the menu too!

its not that i dont like hyphes, i dont understand why when you are in the visual mode typing out the text it looks fine but when you view the page, it looks like the margins need to be wider. and also, because this is a responsive theme shouldnt the pages look the same on any device?

but is there a way to just show the current months posts automatically, otherwise the page is so long.

Ok, so what about the rest of the front page, i wrote some text and included an image and got the following error. I wonder if these errors will effect my search results

Thank u! It worked…partially….the archives widget is still showing on the other pages,mi have them set to a default page setting.

I wanted a google map widget to appear only on the home page..so I put the widget in the optional homepage, for some reason it appears on the home (static) page AND the post page too. On the post page I wanted the archive widget to appear and for some reason it isnt, its appearing on all the other pages. Also, is there a tutorial on where all these sidebars a supposed to be, I don’t know why some are called optional.

I cant take this anymore! I bought Catch Everest Pro, I cant figure out why my widgets dont show up in the optional front page sidebar.
