I am getting closer… played a lot with the size of the image and,

Now working on getting the menu bar integrated with the slider images. Is it possible to play with the transparency or the menu bar and overlay it?

Trying to set our logo to the far left inline with our social media links on the far right…

I have played with the size of the logo and the cropping…

still can’t get it to look right.

I have the same problem. I no longer find the download link in my account page.

OK now it is basically what I wanted. There is a bit of extra space where the blank page is on my front page. I suppose there is no way to make that space smaller, the space under the text where the page would show up if it had content.

Other than that I am very happy with it!

I am getting close… I set a blank page as my static front page and my slider images are still there!

Now I just need to get the side bar off of my blank page and it should be almost exactly what I wanted.

I would like to keep the main page exactly how it is now.

In addition I would like when I create posts that they show up only on the Blog page.

Except instead of featured content on the main page I want to keep my image slider… and then have my blog like they have on the “news” page.

Is there any way to keep the slider on the static front page?

I followed your directions and I lost the slider so I changed back to the original format.

Is there another option to get the blog posts onto a specific blog page and not all show up on the front page?

Ok third time is the charm…

So I activated the Catch Everest Pro theme and then re-activated my child theme and now I can change the background.

When doing that I also gained access to the new pro features.

So for anyone using a child theme trying to upgrade from Catch Everest to Catch Everest Pro, upload the Catch Everest Pro theme, activate it, then re-activate your child theme and update your child theme to pull the Style.css from the Catch Everest Pro.

That is it!

I just uploaded the pro theme and updated my child theme to point to catch-everest-pro. Seems like everything remained (header, custom css, etc.)… except for the background. The background changed to the default background and I cannot change it to a custom color. I would like it to be white, #ffffff, but when I enter that in the custom background page, the preview is good white but I click save and the background is still the default.

Any ideas?

I have a child theme but I did not change anything yet. Seems the slider photos dissapear from time to time, but when I notice the are gone I go to the menu options and click save menu and they show up again…

Hi Sakin,

Issue is happening again now… the slider images are not there.

I see everything except for the slider featured images. Even the slider arrows are there they are just on the menu.

I again tried to refresh, clear the cache and even tried over my cellular network on my cell phone. Featured images are gone.

Thanks for checking into this strange, dissemblance then reappearance of the featured images on the slider.

Hi Sakin,

It seems to come and go. Some times I go to the site and it works and other times it is not working. They just disappear and all I see are the slider arrows.

Now the images are back. It is strange. When they disappear I try the site from other computers and even my smart phone (different network) and they are gone. Then I try back in 15 minutes and the images are there again.

I will try to let you know the next time they disappear.
